Medicare Insurance Plans

We offer a variety of Medicare Insurance plans to help you get the most out of your benefits. Our plans cover hospital stays, doctor visits, prescription drugs and more. Our team of professionals can help you compare plans, understand your options, and choose the plan that closest meets your healthcare needs and budget.

Medicare Advantage Plans

Medicare Advantage Plans, also known as Part C plans, offer a variety of plan options and coverages. While you must be enrolled in Part A and Part B of Original Medicare to qualify for a Part C plan, the Insurance Company becomes primary when you are enrolled in one of these plans. With a Medicare Advantage plan, you will typically have a network of providers that have chosen to contract with the insurance carriers and will typically pay copays for certain services, like doctor visits, hospitalizations, outpatient services, etc. Many of these plans also include prescription drug (Part D) benefits and ancillary benefits, like dental, vision, hearing aid coverage, gym membership and over-the-counter allowances. You cannot combine a Medicare Advantage Part C product with a Medicare Supplement or stand-alone Part D Prescription Drug Plan. These plans are also based on the county in which you reside.

Medicare Supplement Plans

A Medicare Supplement Plan, also known as a Medigap plan, is a product that supplements Original Medicare Part A and Part B. When enrolled in one of these products, Original Medicare is primary, and the Medicare Supplement plan would be secondary. These plans typically do not include prescription drug benefits, so if desired, a separate prescription policy would be needed. These plans utilize Original Medicare’s network; therefore, so long as a provider accepts Original Medicare, they would also accept the Medicare Supplement plan.

Medicare Prescription Drug Plans

Original Medicare and most Medicare Supplement plans do not include prescription drug coverage, therefore a stand-alone prescription drug plan, also known as Part D, is another type of insurance policy to provide assistance in paying for medications.

Individual Options

Health Insurance Marketplace

We offer assistance with enrollment via the Health Insurance Marketplace. While Annual Enrollment does not begin until November 1st of each year, there may be certain circumstances that allow enrollments throughout the year. These plans offer major medical coverage and may include assistance from the government in the form of subsidies/advanced premium tax credits and cost-sharing reductions based on several individual factors. We are happy to assist you with exploring these options.

Direct Enrollment with Carriers

If you do not qualify or would like to enroll directly with the insurance carriers, we are also available to assist you with these enrollments. With only certain times of year to apply, we can sit with you to discuss your enrollment options and benefits.

Short Term Medical Plans

If you have missed an enrollment opportunity to sign up with the Health Insurance Marketplace or directly with the carrier or are wanting an insurance policy to bridge a gap before new coverage begins, we offer short term medical options that can be taken out anywhere from 30 days (minimum) to 365 days. Coverage can start as soon as the next day!

International Medical Coverage

Most major medical policies do not provide international coverage and many “travel” policies do not offer comprehensive medical protection. While these plans do not offer trip protection, they do offer peace-of-mind coverage for unexpected medical expenses and medical evacuations. These affordable products are great for cruises, foreign travel, exchange programs and missionary work/trips. They can be customized to your specific travel dates to provide you detailed protection internationally.

Ancillary Options

Dental Plans

We offer stand-alone dental plans that provide coverage for preventive, basic and major benefits. Many of our plans are PPO products that allow for in and out-of-network benefits and providers.

Vision Plans

We also offer stand-alone vision plans that provide for routine eye exams, allowances for lenses/frames and/or contact lenses.

Hospital Indemnity Plans

Hospital costs can add up quickly, but with a hospital indemnity plan you can be reimbursed for your medical stay. Additional coverage options can include reimbursement for ambulance, physical therapy, outpatient surgeries, skilled nursing facility stays and more. This customizable coverage is designed to enhance your current benefits and offset the costs of deductible, copays, and coinsurance.

Short Term Home Health Care Plans

We plan for death with life insurance, but what about planning for those times where we are still alive but may not be able to care for ourselves. Help to lessen the burden for your loved ones by taking out a policy that will provide financial assistance for a home health aide to come to your home and assist you. These plans also offer prescription drug reimbursements, regardless of the copay through your medical insurance policy!

Critical Accident/ Cancer/ Heart Attack/ Stroke Protection Plans

These protection plans offer cash payments to help offset the costs of critical accidents, cancer, heart attack and strokes. Use these lump-sum payments to help with medical and therapy expenses, time away from work, or toward bucket-list items. These policies pay you directly in the event of specific medical conditions.

Life Insurance

We are pleased to offer term, whole and final expense life insurance options. Term life insurance is for a specific time frame, typically 10, 20, 30-year increments. These policies do not gain cash value and once the policy term has expired, the benefit or face amount of the policy is expired. Term life insurance is typically less expensive than whole life or final expense insurance.

Whole Life insurance is life insurance essentially for your whole life. These policies typically do not increase in premium and may grow in cash value benefits as the policy lengthens.

Final Expense policies are whole life insurance policies that are typically taken out to cover burial expenses. Featuring smaller face value amounts, these policies are also designed to remain the same premium for life.

Short Term Disability

While many employers often offer disability coverage, these short-term disability policies are a great option for self-insured clients wanting to make sure that they have a comprehensive benefit package and income protection in the event they become disabled and unable to work.
